As an SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect focused on Finance, Document & Reporting Compliance (DRC), and Tax, you will play a central role in shaping the global financial architecture. Your expertise will drive the design and implementation of scalable solutions across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cash & Bank, Period-End Closing, and Consolidation interfaces within S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and govern the end-to-end Finance process landscape, ensuring alignment with international standards and consistency across business entities.
- Collaborate with Global Process Owners to standardize financial operations and support harmonization initiatives.
- Translate business needs into functional designs, delivering robust and future-ready S/4HANA solutions.
- Lead compliance efforts for DRC and global tax regulations, managing ongoing changes and regulatory updates.
- Implement and support country-specific e-Invoicing mandates, including integrations with tax authorities in Italy (SDI), India (IRN), Portugal (SAF-T), Korea (e-Tax), China (Golden Tax), and France (e-Invoicing).
- Integrate SAP FI modules with third-party tax compliance platforms such as SOVOS and Baiwang.
- Serve as the key technical and functional bridge between Finance, Tax, and IT teams during implementations and operations.
- Lead process workshops, train key users, and support organizational change throughout transformation projects.
- Drive automation, simplification, and continuous improvement in financial processes.
- Oversee incident resolution, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement preventive system enhancements.
- Produce functional documentation, configuration guides, and technical specifications.
- Support data migration activities using LSMW, MASS, and BAPIs when required.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. A minimum of five years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA is required, with deep proficiency in FI/CO modules. You should have direct experience in DRC, e-Invoicing, and integrating tax reporting with global authorities. Participation in at least two full-cycle S/4HANA implementations—preferably in multinational organizations—is essential.
Strong knowledge of Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash integration points is expected, along with familiarity with statutory reporting, compliance frameworks, and tax regulations.

- Exposure to global process templates or GPO-driven rollouts.
