We are looking for a skilled SAP FICO/ Public Cloud Consultant to join our team in India. In this role, you will lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling modules within the SAP Public Cloud environment, ensuring solutions align with client business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure SAP FICO components, including Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Asset Accounting (AA), and Profitability Analysis (COPA).
- Advise clients on financial best practices, reporting structures, and controlling frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored SAP solutions integrated with modules such as MM, SD, and WM.
- Support integration between SAP FICO and external financial systems or third-party applications.
- Conduct testing, identify issues, and implement fixes to ensure system reliability.
- Deliver training sessions and develop documentation to support user adoption.
- Stay current with SAP Public Cloud updates and guide clients on leveraging new functionalities.
- Work closely with developers, functional teams, and project leads to ensure on-time project delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on SAP experience, with a strong focus on FI/CO implementation and support.
- Proven expertise in SAP Public Cloud environments and familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
- Deep understanding of financial accounting principles, cost management, treasury processes, and reporting standards.
- Experience integrating FICO with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and WM.
- Knowledge of SAP DDA, CBC, CALM, or related tools is required.
- Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
Preferred Background
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or SAP Cloud Platform.
- Experience using SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar cloud-native tools.
- SAP certification is considered an advantage.
