Role Overview
Join a forward-thinking team as an SAP FICO Consultant, where you'll play a key role in delivering end-to-end financial system implementations. Your focus will be on configuring and supporting SAP FI/CO modules within S/4HANA environments, ensuring solutions align with client needs and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain SAP FICO components including Financial Accounting, Controlling, Asset Accounting, and COPA.
- Lead client engagements to gather requirements, configure systems, and ensure integration with modules such as MM, SD, and WM.
- Support migration to S/4HANA Finance, including data transition, cutover planning, and testing.
- Configure advanced features like New GL, Document Splitting, Parallel Ledgers, and financial reporting tools.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, and localization standards, including GST in India.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, streamline processes, and deliver timely project milestones.
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to help clients adopt new systems effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 15+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation and support.
- Proven expertise in FI, CO, AA, COPA, and integration with other SAP modules and external financial systems.
- Strong understanding of India-specific tax regulations and GST rollout experience.
- Familiarity with S/4HANA Finance migration, Group Reporting, Financial Closing Cockpit, and intercompany processes.
- Ability to analyze business workflows, map processes, and configure solutions accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of managing stakeholder relationships.
