SAP PP/APO Consultant
Role Overview
This position supports the Production Planning and Advanced Planner and Optimizer (PP/APO) function within the Automotive IT Competence Center. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering SAP-based planning solutions, working closely with both global teams and local stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and technical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed system analysis and execute SAP customizing tasks specific to PP and APO modules
- Engage in all project phases including blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support
- Collaborate with global centers, local management, and key users to translate business requirements into functional designs
- Lead documentation efforts for both business processes and technical configurations
- Train and guide key users and support the development of internal training materials
- Develop and maintain SAP roles and authorization concepts to ensure secure system access
- Provide second-line support by analyzing incidents and change requests, identifying root causes, and implementing long-term fixes
- Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and support team members in deepening their expertise
- Facilitate communication between central teams and local departments during process rollouts and system upgrades
- Manage personal deliverables and timelines to meet project milestones consistently
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and broader organizational projects

Work is centered on SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP APO (Advanced Planner and Optimizer) modules, with a focus on integration within the broader manufacturing and supply chain landscape.
