Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements related to controlling processes
- Configure SAP CO module according to defined specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system alignment
- Support integration between CO and other SAP modules
- Document functional designs and configuration decisions
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in the controlling area
- Assist in testing cycles including unit and integration testing
- Provide user support during implementation phases
- Maintain system documentation for audit and compliance
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency in cost accounting
- Participate in project planning and timeline estimation
- Translate business needs into technical SAP solutions
- Assist in training end users on CO functionalities
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Work with finance teams to validate reporting outputs
- Enforce best practices in SAP configuration management
- Participate in change management procedures
- Assist in data migration and validation tasks
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
- Provide post-implementation support and enhancements
- Evaluate system upgrades and patches for CO module
- Coordinate with external consultants when necessary
- Maintain version control for configuration transports
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in cost management
