About the Role
The role involves leading SAP FI/CO implementations, providing expert configuration, supporting integration efforts, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure financial processes meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling modules
- Configure general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cost center accounting
- Support integration between FI/CO and other SAP modules such as MM and SD
- Analyze client financial processes and recommend system improvements
- Develop and execute test plans for FI/CO functionality
- Provide expert guidance during system migration and data conversion
- Collaborate with project teams to define functional specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues in production environments
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial reporting standards
- Deliver user training and create operational documentation
- Participate in blueprinting and requirements gathering workshops
- Assist in defining chart of accounts and fiscal year variants
- Configure profit center and internal order accounting
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Work closely with technical teams for custom development needs
- Conduct system validation and user acceptance testing support
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP FI/CO enhancements
- Provide post-implementation support and system optimization
- Coordinate with auditors for system compliance checks
- Ensure proper integration of tax configurations in FI
- Assist in global rollouts with multi-country accounting needs
- Lead configuration for intercompany transactions
- Support integration with SAP S/4HANA when applicable
- Participate in agile project delivery frameworks
- Manage stakeholder expectations across departments
