Lead the architectural design and deployment of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions within a large-scale IT environment. This role focuses on aligning technical strategy with business requirements for asset-intensive operations, ensuring reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability of the EAM landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and govern the end-to-end SAP EAM architecture, including integration with ERP, maintenance modules, and third-party systems
- Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to translate operational needs into scalable technical designs
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and custom development while maintaining compliance with enterprise standards
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for asset hierarchy, preventive maintenance, and work order management
- Ensure data consistency, security, and performance across distributed SAP components
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an SAP EAM Architect or equivalent role in complex technical environments
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA EAM modules and integration technologies (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, PI/PO)
- Familiarity with ITIL, CMDB, and enterprise architecture frameworks is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Relevant SAP certifications are highly desirable
