Capgemini is looking for an SAP E2E Solution Architect to lead strategic SAP deals with global scope. In this role, you will take end-to-end responsibility for shaping and defending SAP solutions, driving the innovation agenda, and mentoring a team of architects. You will be the key technical leader positioning Capgemini's SAP offerings to global clients.
What You'll Do
- Lead SAP Application Development deals with global scope (5 to 25 M Euros), taking end-to-end responsibility for solutioning and bid response.
- Appropriately position and promote Capgemini’s SAP offers and assets within client opportunities.
- Drive solution strategy with account, sales, and partner teams to shape deals based on competitive scenarios and client priorities.
- Defend developed solutions and offerings internally at the business unit level.
- Plan, lead, and present solutions in client meetings, orals, and workshops.
- Interact with customers to understand requirements and propose solutions and methodologies.
- Lead S/4HANA, Leonardo, and AI-ML adoption initiatives to demonstrate business value for digital transformation.
- Drive innovation and transformation agendas in large existing accounts, providing delivery and solution assurance.
- Support and guide solutions and offerings within the capability center of excellence.
- Drive competency development and ideate new innovative solutions, proofs of concept, and proofs of value.
- Provide expert support to various projects and delivery engagements.
- Guide, develop, and mentor a team of architects to continuously enhance solutioning capabilities.
What We're Looking For
- 12+ years of overall SAP experience.
- Deep, rooted knowledge in at least one area of expertise: FICO, O2C, P2P, SCM, or CRM.
- Good SAP solution integration knowledge.
- Experience in pre-sales solution architecting.
- Experience leading large strategic deals centered around SAP (>10M Euros).
- Ability to understand business requirements, design solutions, and create estimations and commercial offers for global customers.
- Strong hands-on experience in any one of the SAP core modules or technical streams.
- 5 years of Delivery Management experience in SAP Application Development implementation projects.
- Experience in customer-facing roles.
- Experience leading SAP projects in the AD side ranging from 3M to 10M Euros.
- Expert understanding of implementation, migration, and upgrade processes for SAP S/4HANA, including sizing, architecture, and configuration.
- Broad understanding across functional areas with in-depth process knowledge in one.
- Industry knowledge in Manufacturing, Retail, CPG, or Life Sciences.
- Ability to articulate in business language and translate technology propositions into business value.
- Experience integrating SAP ERP solutions with other ERP systems.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-location, distributed global delivery setup.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Experience interacting with senior-level client stakeholders like program managers and business process managers.
- Strong capabilities in people management and stakeholder management.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of S/4HANA, Suite on HANA, and HANA database as a foundation.
- Additional language skills: German, Spanish, Dutch, or French.
- Experience representing the practice or organization at industry events or forums.
