Join a team of skilled consultants delivering tailored SAP Finance solutions for clients with operations in Japan. In this role, you will configure SAP S/4HANA modules including FI-GL, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting to align with business requirements and Japan-specific financial practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP FI/CO configurations across core finance processes such as general ledger, cost accounting, tax reporting, and intercompany transactions.
- Lead business process workshops using accurate financial and accounting terminology in Japanese and English.
- Ensure SAP solutions comply with Japanese statutory reporting, tax regulations, and IFRS 16 leasing standards.
- Support end-to-end data migration for financial master and transactional data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes on time and within scope.
- Assist in pre-sales activities, including solution design, client presentations, and proposal development.
- Develop standardized templates and documentation tailored to Japanese market requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance functional configuration.
- Proven track record in at least two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Fluency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher) and strong written and spoken English are required.
- Deep understanding of finance processes including revenue recognition, fixed assets, procurement integration, and management accounting.
- Direct experience configuring modules related to P2DP, P2RFA, MP2C, D2P, and R2A is essential.
- Familiarity with cbs ET Transformer® or similar data migration tools is advantageous.
