Responsibilities
- Design and deploy SAP role-based authorization structures
- Configure and maintain user access rights across SAP modules
- Conduct regular security audits and access reviews
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate authorization changes
- Troubleshoot and resolve user authorization issues
- Develop and enforce SAP security best practices
- Support system upgrades and migrations with security planning
- Document authorization procedures and role designs
- Monitor for unauthorized access attempts or policy violations
- Implement segregation of duties controls
- Assist in certification of user roles and privileges
- Work with functional teams to define access requirements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP security features
- Support integration of SAP systems with identity management tools
- Participate in project teams for new SAP implementations
- Provide input on security aspects during system design
- Assist in incident response related to access breaches
- Train end users and administrators on authorization protocols
- Maintain consistency in security policies across global operations
