About the Role

Individuals with native or near-native fluency in Japanese are invited to contribute to the development of artificial intelligence systems by evaluating and improving language data. This role involves completing various text interpretation and translation tasks to enhance machine learning accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the quality of Japanese text outputs generated by AI systems
• Provide accurate translations between Japanese and English
• Follow detailed guidelines to assess language model responses
• Identify and flag inappropriate or inaccurate content
• Complete language-based tasks to support AI training
• Ensure consistency in linguistic judgments across tasks
• Report issues or ambiguities in prompts or responses
• Adhere to project-specific instructions for each assignment
• Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail
• Contribute to improving natural language understanding in AI

Nice to Have

• Formal education in linguistics or Japanese studies
• Professional experience using Japanese in academic or business settings
• Background in teaching Japanese as a second language
• Experience working with AI or machine learning technologies
• Knowledge of Japanese dialects or regional variations
