Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all cleaning operations to meet company, USDA, and regulatory sanitation standards for facilities, equipment, and tools.
- Supervise, train, and assign tasks to sanitation staff, ensuring proper cleaning techniques and adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections to confirm sanitation effectiveness and maintain records for food safety audits.
- Track chemical use, cleaning processes, and equipment function, ensuring correct dilution, handling, and upkeep.
- Address sanitation issues quickly during or after shifts, resolving problems to maintain production readiness.
- Keep detailed sanitation documentation, including checklists, logs, corrective actions, and audit records.
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations, including proper use of PPE, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe chemical practices.
- Assume additional duties as assigned to support operational goals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Fundamental computer literacy
- Excellent organizational capabilities
- High level of attention to detail
- Skill in managing multiple tasks and priorities
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- At least one year of prior supervisory experience
- Experience leading teams of 20 or more employees
- Background in poultry, food processing, or manufacturing industries
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Fluency in both English and Spanish

Schedule
Work hours follow a Monday to Friday schedule with occasional weekend shifts as needed.
