About the Role

DXC Technology is hiring a Sanctions Technician to join our Control, Quality and Sanctions function. In this role, you will work under the direction of the Sanctions Manager to ensure the department is compliant with all US, EU, and UK Sanctions regulations. Your primary focus will be carrying out sanctions screening and clearing potential sanctions concerns for insurance transactions.

What You'll Do

  • Carry out sanctions screening work for insurance transactions.
  • Clear potential sanctions concerns flagged during the screening process.
  • Work closely with the team, the business, and compliance departments.
  • Represent DXC (Velonetic) when interacting with brokers, underwriters, managing agents, and legal representatives.
  • Support sanctions regulatory change initiatives.
  • Flag incidents and monitor for trends.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and identify quality concerns for escalation.
  • Proactively support continuous improvement and escalate non-compliance or persistent issues to the Sanctions Manager.
  • Ensure high standards of work are consistently met.

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • You must reside in the UK and have the Right to Work in the UK.
