Syneos Health is looking for a Sample Management Specialist I to provide operational support for the end-to-end sample management process on clinical studies. This is an entry-level position where you'll learn and execute duties while supporting the team, working independently once you've demonstrated competency. What You'll Do
- Provide operational support for the management of reference materials and matrices.
- Support the receipt, verification, inventory control, distribution, sending, and disposition of study samples.
- Prepare samples for analysis.
- Keep an inventory of supplies and order them when needed.
- Assist with the maintenance and operation of sample storage equipment and its monitoring system.
- Archive documents associated with the management of study samples.
What We're Looking For
- A High School diploma.
- This is an entry-level position; no prior experience is required.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to learn sample-tracking software.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a regulated environment will be considered an asset.
