Cognizant is hiring a Salesforce Developer to architect and build robust, customized Salesforce solutions that meet complex business needs. Your work will directly enhance service delivery and operational efficiency within the Process Manufacturing Industry.
What You'll Do
- Architect, develop, and optimize Apex (classes, triggers), LWC/Aura, and Salesforce Flows with scalable data models and robust error handling.
- Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, External Services, and Platform Events, and maintain reliable release runbooks.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and deliver resilient fixes.
- Lead Git/GitHub workflows including branching, pull request reviews, and code quality gates.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for validations, automated tests, and gated deployments.
- Own environment strategy: Dev Hub, scratch orgs, sandbox refreshes, data seeding, and backups.
- Ensure platform security, compliance (CRUD/FLS/sharing), and enforce performance best practices.
- Work closely with business users to understand issues and provide timely, business‑friendly resolutions.
- Write clear technical documentation, deployment guides, automation runbooks, and knowledge articles.
- Mentor junior developers and DevOps engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and coaching on best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in SFDC Development and Customization with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture.
- Expertise in SFDC Data management ensuring data integrity and security.
- Experience with SFDC Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning.
- A solid understanding of SFDC Lightning for creating user-friendly interfaces.
- Demonstrated capability in SFDC Integration for seamless data flow across systems.
- Experience in SFDC Configuration aligning systems with organizational needs.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the Process Manufacturing Industry.
- Practical experience with contemporary AI platforms (Salesforce AI, Azure OpenAI/OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) or building/customizing LLMs, covering secure integration, prompt engineering, and guardrails.
