Responsibilities
- Apply artificial intelligence expertise using platforms such as Salesforce AI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or similar, including secure integration, prompt design, model evaluation, and implementation of safety controls.
- Design and implement scalable Apex code—including classes and triggers—and develop Lightning Web Components and Aura components with strong error handling and data model support.
- Create and manage integrations via REST and SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, External Services, and Platform Events, ensuring reliable deployment processes with documented runbooks.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues in production environments by conducting root cause analysis and implementing durable fixes.
- Lead version control practices using Git and GitHub, managing branching strategies, pull request reviews, code quality standards, and release oversight.
- Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools, including automated testing and controlled deployments across environments.
- Manage development and testing environments, including Dev Hub setup, scratch org lifecycle, sandbox management, data anonymization, seeding, backups, and recovery.
- Enforce platform security measures such as object- and field-level access controls, sharing rules, and compliance standards while optimizing for performance and governor limits.
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to assess operational challenges and deliver effective, user-oriented solutions.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including deployment instructions, automation procedures, and support resources for administrators and support teams.
- Guide junior developers and DevOps team members through code reviews, pair programming, architectural feedback, and coaching on best practices in Apex, LWC, CI/CD, security, and scalability.
- Demonstrate understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud functionalities and configurations.
