Washington University in St. Louis is hiring a Salesforce Configuration Analyst to join University Advancement. This remote role is responsible for the design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Salesforce application functionality to support the division's goals. You will deliver solutions primarily through declarative development within the Salesforce platform.
What You'll Do
- Review business requirements and ask thoughtful questions to ensure the right solution.
- Configure, monitor, maintain, test, and debug declarative development within Salesforce.
- Participate in all Agile ceremonies and provide input to the pointing process and retrospectives.
- Follow established change management processes and adhere to development standards.
- Conduct QA on completed work according to documented acceptance criteria.
- Analyze and document existing processes as they relate to information technology solutions.
- Troubleshoot escalated bugs and provide fixes, including providing off-hours support as needed.
- Assist with researching and evaluating new technology to optimize development and functionality.
- Act as a source of direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff.
- Provide, cultivate, and foster excellent customer service.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and/or experience that substitutes for the minimum education.
- 4 years of experience analyzing business processes and data.
Nice to Have
- Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer, or Salesforce Administrator.
- Relevant technology experience including Salesforce declarative development.
- Experience working in higher education, with strong preference given to candidates with experience in advancement/fundraising.
- Experience in a higher education technology environment, especially with Affinaquest or Salesforce.
- Advanced technical knowledge of application systems and analysis, as well as industry best practices.
- Proficiency in Agile systems, business analysis, process improvements, quality assurance, solutions development, and technical writing.

- Compensation range: $65,900.00 - $112,700.00 annually.
