As a Salesforce Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform, tailored to meet the stringent requirements of public sector programs. Your work will center on Government Cloud implementations, ensuring all systems comply with federal standards including FedRAMP High and protect sensitive data such as PII and FOCI.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with customer business objectives, emphasizing security, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple development initiatives, guiding teams in best practices for Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integration patterns.
- Establish and enforce strict security models using Organization-Wide Defaults, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules to ensure data integrity and access control.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs, evaluating emerging Salesforce features like Agentforce and Data Cloud.
- Oversee system architecture activities from concept through deployment, including integration testing, process design, and lifecycle management.
- Advise on infrastructure changes, including network hardware and operating systems, with responsibilities spanning configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, resolving complex system issues and supporting teams across development, maintenance, and delivery phases.
Qualifications
You bring at least eight years of IT experience, with four years focused on Salesforce solution architecture. You have a proven background in Service-Oriented Architecture, API integrations, and full lifecycle implementations. Expertise in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, JavaScript, and XML is essential. Experience with OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, Salesforce Shield, and DocuSign CLM integrations is required. You must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a federal background investigation for a Position of Trust.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Public Sector Solutions (PSS) Foundation and Agentforce with Data Cloud
- Salesforce certifications including Technical Architect, System Architect, or Application Architect
- OmniStudio Consultant/Developer or Data Cloud/Agentforce credentials
- Strong grasp of design patterns and large data volume optimization
