Role Overview
As a Mid-Market Client Sales Executive, you will be responsible for accelerating revenue by increasing card utilization and uncovering new business potential within our current client portfolio. You’ll serve as a strategic partner to CFOs and financial decision-makers, guiding them to maximize the value of an integrated financial platform through tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to grow net-new revenue by driving higher adoption and spend on the company card across existing accounts
- Identify and pursue expansion opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship development
- Drive adoption of Spend Management tools—including Expense Management, Billpay, and Travel—by aligning features with client needs
- Build trusted relationships with finance leaders through regular engagement and consultative guidance
- Develop and execute strategies to improve client experience, from onboarding to long-term platform utilization
Qualifications
Candidates should bring a solid foundation in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS or payments. Requirements include:
- Minimum of 3 years in B2B sales, with experience in SaaS or payments environments
- At least 2 years of experience closing net-new deals
- 1+ years of outbound prospecting
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret customer data
- Proven success in high-performance sales environments
- Self-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing goals
- Openness to feedback and professional development
Preferred Background
- Experience with financial products, credit systems, or business banking
- Familiarity with expense, travel, and payment automation platforms
- Track record in cross-selling or upselling within a client portfolio
- Understanding of customer retention and renewal cycles
- Knowledge of sales enablement tools such as Gong, Salesforce, and Outreach
- Series 7 license is a plus
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid model, requiring presence in the office at least three days per week—specifically Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday—with flexibility for up to four weeks of remote work annually. Compensation & Growth
The estimated on-target earnings (OTE) for this position ranges from $117,600 to $147,000 CAD, combining base salary and commission. Actual pay depends on location, experience, and internal equity. Depending on the role, additional compensation such as equity may be offered.
