Drive growth in critical industrial sectorsWe’re looking for a Sales Specialist or Senior Sales Specialist to play a key role in expanding our presence in the mining and power generation industries across New South Wales. Based out of the Rutherford office with frequent regional travel, you’ll take ownership of building lasting client relationships and advancing technical sales for power generation and temperature control solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Travel approximately every second week across NSW to meet clients, assess needs, and strengthen business relationships
- Develop new accounts in heavy industry and mining, focusing on tailored power and climate control applications
- Support end-to-end sales processes—from initial engagement and project design to site delivery and follow-up
- Act as a technical advisor, responding to client inquiries and collaborating with engineering and operations teams
- Create and execute a regional sales strategy that highlights hybrid and low-emission technologies
- Stay current on evolving product lines and lead adoption of new offerings within your territory
- Deliver consistent customer feedback to internal teams to improve service and solution fit
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in industrial sales or technical trades with a focus on complex equipment or systems
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve technical challenges in real-world environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a commitment to safety, quality, and service excellence
- Familiarity with industrial standards and regulations
- Basic project management skills to coordinate across teams and timelines
Preferred Background
- Technical understanding of mining, power systems, or related industrial equipment
- Interest or experience in sustainable energy and low-emission technologies
- Ability to adapt and grow in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
- Insight into successful product launches and market integration strategies

Work Environment
This role is based in Rutherford with regular travel across the Hunter Valley and broader NSW region. A flexible schedule is required to meet client needs on-site. You’ll work closely with technical teams and management to deliver reliable, innovative solutions tailored to industrial demands.
