About the Role
This position focuses on driving revenue by acquiring new clients in the trucking industry through targeted outreach, relationship building, and solution-based selling. The representative will act as a primary point of contact for prospects and support long-term account growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify and reach out to potential clients in the transportation and trucking sectors
- Conduct needs assessments to understand customer challenges and objectives
- Present tailored solutions that align with client operational goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at trucking companies
- Follow up on leads and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Provide accurate forecasts and updates on sales pipeline progress
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements within approved guidelines
- Support marketing initiatives with customer insights and feedback
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests
- Educate clients on product features, benefits, and integration processes
- Work toward achieving individual and team sales targets
- Collaborate with customer success to ensure long-term retention
- Adapt communication style to suit various customer personalities and roles
- Use CRM tools to track outreach, meetings, and deal stages
- Represent the company professionally in all customer-facing interactions
