3M is hiring a Sales Representative (m/f/*) / Salgsrepresentant (m/k/*)

About the Role

As a Sales Representative for 3M's Abrasive Systems Division in Norway, you will drive sales growth for 3M’s innovative abrasive products, including 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 and 3M™ Scotch-Brite™, within the metal industry. You will manage your own territory, build customer relationships, and collaborate with channel partners across Norway.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop your own territory and create your pipeline of opportunities through interactions with relevant B2B end users predominantly within the metal industry.
  • Develop and maintain market, industry and product knowledge.
  • Engage in and proactively support any national ASD (Abrasive Systems Division) marketing promotions or sales programs.
  • Create close working relationships with 3M channel partners and their sales organisations to built agreed call plans to relevant end users, as well as support on jointly agreed 3M promotional activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in industrial markets
  • Pro-active, results focused self-starter with a passion for sales and exceeding targets.
  • Organized with ability to work with others as well as alone to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication, questioning and listening skills
  • Good English – verbal and written

Nice to Have

  • IT literate - Proficient in use of IT tools, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. CRM
  • Knowledge in metal industry

  • Reporting to: Nordic Sales Manager, located in Denmark

Work Mode

  • Onsite role with field-based work
  • Locations: Norway (preferably Oslo area or in the Møre & Romsdal county)
  • Field based with home office for administrative work; average of 5-7 overnights per month for customer visits
