Teleflex Incorporated is looking for a Sales Representative to lead the strategic promotion and sales of designated medical device products within an assigned territory. You will drive sustained growth by expanding utilization across key accounts, delivering advanced clinical education, and ensuring a superior customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Implement the territory sales plan to meet established goals, supporting existing customers while actively prospecting for new business.
- Organize and prioritize field time to maximize customer engagement and drive steady territory growth.
- Facilitate sales growth by conducting physician, nurse, and technologist training and account in-servicing of dialysis access products.
- Provide product technical support to customers in an Operating Room and Interventional suite environment.
- Participate in troubleshooting support programs.
- Educate customers on products, procedures, and industry trends using available education programs.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth profile of each account, tracking customer preferences, competitive intelligence, and key contacts.
- Conduct strategic territory management and analysis.
- Develop key opinion leaders.
- Account for all territory expenses and materials.
- Review current literature for new developments within the healthcare and sales fields.
- Attend local, regional, and/or national scientific tradeshows and professional meetings to promote products.
- Assist with the coordination of national conventions for setup, booth coverage, and breakdown.
- Be an active corporate member of professional societies (e.g., ANNA, NKF, AVIR, ESRD).
- Develop multi-level relationships within key accounts.
- Maintain knowledge of company products and competitive offerings.
- Adhere to and ensure compliance with Teleflex’s Code of Ethics and all Company policies.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
- A Registered Technologist (RT) Certificate plus 5 years of direct sales experience in a cath lab setting is accepted in lieu of a degree.
- 3+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, preferably in medical device sales.
Nice to Have
- Medical experience in the interventional cardiology or radiology setting is strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical skills are a plus.
