Cognizant is hiring a Sales Program Data & Ops Analyst to enhance sales productivity through comprehensive tooling support, process optimization, and data-driven execution. In this role, you will be the operational backbone for revenue growth teams, ensuring smooth system functionality and delivering actionable insights.
What You'll Do
- Provide frontline support to revenue growth teams and cross-functional stakeholders, serving as a primary operational support desk.
- Perform Tier 1 system bug and enhancement triage, and maintain mission-critical keep-the-lights-on (KTLO) processes.
- Load and manage contact, account, and campaign data in Salesforce and Salesloft; troubleshoot assignments, routing, mapping, and data issues in real time.
- Build and maintain BI reports and dashboards; perform ad-hoc SQL analysis and diagnostics to support active sales plays.
- Generate, enrich, and refine highly targeted account and contact lists utilizing multiple internal and third-party data sources.
- Establish and document repeatable data operational procedures and best practices; coach sellers to avoid recurring errors.
- Merge data from Salesforce, manual inputs, and external sources to produce actionable recommendations and implement quick operational fixes.
- Coordinate with GTM Account Data Excellence, Data Science, and Sales Program Managers on data quality, root-cause analysis, and specialized list needs.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of overall professional experience.
- Direct experience in Sales Operations or a Deal/Support Desk function.
- Proven ability in cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills within a sales environment.
- Comfort with supporting repetitive operational tasks.
- Strong SQL fluency, with the ability to write queries from scratch for rapid analysis.
- Hands-on Salesforce data management and admin experience, including data loads, understanding objects/relationships, and managing campaigns, lists, and targets.
- BI and reporting skills with the ability to synthesize data and create insightful dashboards.
- Experience with Salesloft and list management/campaign execution workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis.
- Excellent troubleshooting and operational triage skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with a sense of urgency and the ability to execute under tight timelines.
