About the Role
The Sales Operations Specialist will work closely with sales leadership to streamline operations, analyze performance metrics, and implement scalable processes that enhance productivity and forecasting accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain CRM data integrity to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting
- Generate regular sales performance reports for leadership review
- Assist in the development and tracking of sales KPIs and dashboards
- Support onboarding of new sales team members with operational tools and training
- Collaborate with finance and sales teams to align targets and quotas
- Analyze sales trends and identify areas for process improvements
- Manage sales territory alignments and account assignments
- Facilitate sales operations meetings and follow up on action items
- Maintain documentation for sales processes and best practices
- Support contract and pricing workflows in coordination with legal and finance
- Track sales incentives, commissions, and compensation plans
- Implement tools and automation to reduce manual tasks
- Coordinate sales planning cycles and input collection
- Provide ad hoc analysis for strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal sales policies and procedures
- Work with IT to optimize CRM functionality and user experience
- Standardize sales reporting across regions and business units
- Evaluate sales technology needs and recommend solutions
- Assist in merger or acquisition integration related to sales operations
- Promote data-driven decision-making across the sales team
