Responsibilities
- Design and manage a risk-focused audit strategy covering CRM usage, approval workflows, contracts, quoting and billing (CPQ), licensing, and data integrity within sales operations.
- Conduct regular audits using sampling or full-scope methods as needed, record findings, and assess financial or operational impact.
- Track, analyze, and report compliance metrics and control performance to sales leadership and relevant stakeholders; oversee resolution of identified gaps.
- Investigate root causes of recurring compliance or process issues and collaborate with sales, legal, finance, and product teams to implement corrective measures and process enhancements.
- Verify the accuracy of critical sales metrics such as annual contract value (ACV) bookings and renewals, ensuring alignment with data governance policies.
- Establish, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures and policies for sales processes, including version tracking and change documentation.
- Create and deliver training programs for sales and operations teams on compliance controls, CRM best practices, contract/quote standards, and audit outcomes.
- Use automation and analytical tools to expand monitoring capabilities through dashboards, alerts, and automated validation checks.
- Respond to regulatory or third-party audit requests by providing documentation and preserving a clear, complete audit trail.
