Samsara is hiring a Sales Operations Analyst

This role is central to advancing the effectiveness of the enterprise sales organization through strategic project leadership and operational excellence. The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will take full ownership of key initiatives, guiding them from conception to completion with minimal oversight. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to sales processes, identifying opportunities to improve workflow quality and timeliness, and implementing scalable solutions across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of targeted projects or complex, cross-functional workstreams, defining objectives, tracking milestones, and delivering results.
  • Enforce and refine sales operations policies, driving consistency and raising performance standards across the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and test enhancements for core platforms such as Salesforce and Zendesk, ensuring tools meet evolving business needs.
  • Align daily workstreams with overarching corporate objectives, adjusting priorities to support long-term growth.
  • Monitor and assess key performance indicators, proposing adjustments to better reflect team and company outcomes.
  • Embody and promote core cultural values—customer focus, long-term thinking, inclusivity, teamwork, and continuous learning—across all levels of interaction.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and bring at least four years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or a comparable analytical role. Proven ability to manage project timelines independently, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with CRM systems—particularly Salesforce—are essential. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively across functions.

Preferred applicants will have three to four years of direct experience in sales operations or support roles and hands-on familiarity with Salesforce platform management.
