Ashby is hiring a Sales Manager, SMB & BDR - EMEA to lead our Startup Sales & BDR team. You will be accountable for segment revenue, coach representatives to their full potential, and build a high-caliber team. This role reports directly to the EMEA Head of Sales.
What You'll Do
- Be accountable for the segment's revenue, understand its key drivers, and ensure team focus on high-impact activities.
- Provide consistent coaching to help sales reps achieve their full potential and grow in their sales careers.
- Make high-quality hires that align with market demand to build a smaller, high-caliber team.
- Lead the newly established BDR team, ensuring alignment with broader sales strategy and driving lead generation efforts in EMEA.
What We're Looking For
- Managed a team of Account Executives delivering €5M+/year in ARR at a growth-stage SaaS company.
- Proven track record of hiring and onboarding new sales reps who quickly become top performers.
- A coach at heart who loves helping reps improve skills and can deliver empathetic coaching that drives tangible improvement.
- Strong understanding of sales excellence but open to learning and experimenting with new ideas.
- Comfortable jumping into deals to establish executive relationships with customers without 'boxing out' your team.
- Operational mindset with experience identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to accelerate deal flow.
- Product and industry expert who can provide practical advice and relevant stories.
Nice to Have
- Experience running sales teams in both sales-led and product-led go-to-market motions.
- Experience building or managing a BDR/SDR team.
- Experience selling platform applications to Talent and/or People leaders.
