Agilent Technologies is hiring a Sales Manager - Mass Spectrometry to lead and develop the Product Specialist team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving market share growth for critical product lines by navigating dynamic market conditions and fostering strong customer relationships.
What You'll Do
- Maintain in-depth expertise in liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry to inform sales strategy and achieve goals.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and aggressively drive sales growth.
- Cultivate competitive strategies and drive awareness of market developments.
- Master and teach the essentials of selling, prospecting, managing sales funnels, and optimizing time management.
- Collaborate effectively with other Sales Managers and division partners.
- Equip the team with necessary resources, including sales training and operational guidance.
- Foster enduring customer relationships by addressing unique needs with innovative solutions.
- Generate precise sales forecasts and reports to inform decision-making.
- Optimize territory coverage, quota setting, hiring, and team development.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering).
- Must live within 1 hour of a major airport in the United States.
Nice to Have
- Master’s Degree, MBA, or PhD.
- Minimum 5 years of sales and/or sales management experience.
- Strong understanding of Agilent’s LC and mass spectrometry portfolios.
- Proven experience leading a sales team in technical sales or a related role.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- High proficiency with SalesForce.
- Willingness to travel with direct reports to develop culture, hone selling acumen, and drive incremental business.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $205,800.00 - $343,000.00/yr + eligible for stock equity.
- Sales incentive eligible.
