Wärtsilä is looking for a Sales Manager to expand our sales presence for the QuantiServ portfolio across Central & North Europe, including the Caribbean Territory. You will drive the promotion of specialized services such as reco, resins, metal stitching, and in-situ activities to both new and existing customers.
What You'll Do
- Lead, manage, train, and grow QuantiServ sales in Central & North Europe.
- Prepare and implement action plans for the QuantiServ sales budget.
- Proactively market and sell Wärtsilä products and services.
- Secure order intake and sales volume and profit according to agreed targets.
- Develop and implement an attractive QuantiServ offering.
- Secure customer relationships while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain, improve, and develop a portfolio of customers based on profitability.
- Identify and propose new products and services based on customer requirements.
- Locate and encourage new customer accounts, also in other industries.
- Update the customer database while managing risk and liabilities.
- Develop and foster relations with other internal stakeholders.
- Optimize cooperation between the sales in Italy organization and QuantiServ.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or International Management.
- Several years of sales experience within an organization in the marine industry.
- Experience within a service-minded organization and knowledge of global sales processes.
- Strong commercial drive and decisive, action-oriented mindset.
- Proven track record of successfully implemented sales processes.
- Experience with strategic planning and target setting.
- Excellent customer understanding.
- Willingness to travel.
Nice to Have
- Technical knowledge focused on specific QuantiServ Services Portfolio, such as Remanufacturing or In-Situ Machining.
Team & Environment
This role is part of the Business Unit Parts and Field Service, a global organization. You will work closely with various support functions.
Work Mode
This is a local-country position based in Kruiningen (NLD).
