Lead and expand market presence for desalination technologies in Italy by managing key accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting project execution through technical and commercial collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to grow market share
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the desalination sector
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Prepare and present proposals for large-scale water projects
- Monitor regional market trends and competitor activity
- Coordinate with engineering and project management during bid phases
- Drive contract negotiations to successful closure
- Support marketing initiatives tailored to the Italian region
- Ensure compliance with commercial policies and procedures
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline updates
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences
- Act as primary point of contact for strategic accounts
- Work closely with operations to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements in water treatment
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in business or engineering
- Direct experience selling mission-critical equipment
- Track record of exceeding sales targets in competitive markets
- Existing network in Mediterranean water projects
- Understanding of energy recovery devices in desalination plants
