Samsung Electronics America is looking for a Sales Manager – Custom Install Audio Video Specialty Dealers to manage and expand our dealer base to maximize revenue for Samsung TV, AV, and Commercial Display products. Reporting to the Director of Sales-Custom Install, you will be responsible for a portfolio of key accounts across multiple platforms, including AVS, Hybrid CI Dealer/Retail, and Pro-AV Dealers.
What You'll Do
- Drive sales initiatives for both Home Entertainment and Display Solutions product lines to the CI AVS Dealer base.
- Oversee all assigned AVS Dealer revenue attainment and growth.
- Be responsible for ATS and product opportunity placement with accounts.
- Analyze and organize data reporting and be accountable to management.
- Conduct business planning, expand sell-in/sell-through activities, develop sales growth strategies, and execute sales promotional planning.
- Perform frequent business updating and reporting.
- Develop, execute, and audit sales and marketing programs.
- Maintain the integrity of the consumer and commercial division strategies.
- Implement and execute sales and marketing programs.
- Attain the sales goals for the assigned segment.
- Engage with all levels of the organization, both internal and external, within the Custom Install channel.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales plans.
- Conduct monthly ATS and sell-thru planning.
- Implement overall segment strategy and execute Samsung brand support for sales and marketing objectives.
- Maintain daily customer contact and develop new opportunities.
- Manage sell-in and sell-through sales activities.
- Administer sales orders, program execution and validation, and channel communication.
- Organize reporting for management review.
- Travel monthly throughout territory.
- Organize, prepare, and present executive summaries and quarterly business review meetings.
- Collaborate with sales managers, product marketing, and supply chain teams.
- Execute assigned special projects as needed to drive overall sales performance.
- Resolve customer problems.
- Perform monthly and rolling detailed segment analytics (TAM, sales results).
- Support and attend distributor and industry events.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
- 5+ years of previous relatable Customer Install Channel Manufacturer Sales experience, Consumer Electronics or IT account management experience, and/or experience in CE Distribution.
- Advanced data analytics skills, organizational skills, decision-making abilities, initiative, and timely follow-up.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
- Experience managing large partner portfolios in excess of $20M.
- Ability to travel within the US up to 40% of the time.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills and outstanding presentation and sales skills.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, and data analysis).
- The ability to identify, plan, organize, and prioritize business plans and programs to achieve sales performance objectives within established time frames.
- Ability to make professional sales and business presentations in writing, through email, reports, or orally.
- Ability to develop business relationships with both internal teams and external customers.
Nice to Have
- Relevant experience in Consumer and/or Commercial AV products, AV Dealer, and Distribution channels.
- Understanding of strategic sales collaboration within a distribution-fed sales organization.
- Experience with an established CE/IT brand.
- Understanding of AV solution sales channels and two-step go-to-market strategies.
- Established experience with sales management of Consumer Electronics/IT brands and markets, dealer and/or distribution channels.
Technical Stack

- Business management systems.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Director of Sales-Custom Install.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position and is open to candidates within the United States.
