Alkami is looking for a Sales Executive IV to pursue and partner with banks and credit unions seeking to enhance their digital banking strategy and performance. In this hunter role, you will actively prospect and network within an assigned territory to generate sales opportunities with Community Financial Institutions.
What You'll Do
- Actively prospect and network in assigned territory to generate sales opportunities with Community Financial Institutions.
- Develop strategies tailored to C-level executives goals and objectives leveraging your extended Alkami team to bring these opportunities to close.
- Develop and execute strategies for quickly developing sales territory.
- Create, maintain, and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and funnel information.
- Articulate the value proposition of the product and service to convert prospects.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle objections.
- Participate on behalf of the company for trade shows and conferences.
- Travel to meet with prospective customers and markets within your territory.
- Travel to meet with existing customers within your territory.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve better results.
- Act as a mentor to Sales Executive team members.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrable success of selling, building winning relationships and building new business pipelines are essential.
- High ethical standards and determination to succeed.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly at all levels of the organization, including C-level.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications.
- 7+ years experience carrying or directly supporting a quota.
- Ability to travel 25-50%.
- Experience closing complex deals.
- Proficient at common office/MS applications and personal computing.
- Must have a strong sense of urgency and accountability to generate new sales.
- Ability to articulate examples of learning technical products or solutions.
- Ability to analyze, assess and address prospects needs within the context of our products and services.
Nice to Have
- Previous sales experience within the financial technology industry.
- Experience targeting credit unions and banks for clients.
- Previous experience mentoring sales team members.
