Buckman International is hiring a Sales Executive to focus on developing new business while maintaining existing customer relationships within the Quebec region. You will be instrumental in driving new sales growth for our strategic business unit, utilizing Buckman's unique smart digital technologies and customer relationship management programs.
What You'll Do
- Focus primarily on developing new business while maintaining existing customers in Quebec to drive new sales.
- Utilize Buckman's unique smart digital technologies and customer relationship management programs to grow business and customer relationships.
- Help to technically support team members as needed.
- Focus on diversifying the customer base of the region while actively focused on MPC generation sales projects.
- Coach the personnel around you to strive for knowledge sharing.
- Be highly involved with sales funnel planning and tracking with the Regional Sales Manager or Strategic Account Leader.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or Technical Diploma from a four-year university or three-year college.
- Degree in Pulp & Paper, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology.
- Proven sales record and/or years of related experience and/or training.
- Successful selling record, preferably in chemical sales.
- Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
- French language proficiency as a minimum, with English as a second language being an asset.
Nice to Have
- Pulp & Paper Degree preferred.
- Specific training in pulp and paper science.
- Pulp and Paper industry experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.).
- Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience.
- Working knowledge of paper machine operations, wet end chemistry, and pulp mill operations.
- Solid understanding of smart digital solutions and the ability to identify customer opportunities.
- Demonstrated understanding of business/finance and terminology.

This is a local, in-country position based in Quebec, Canada.
