Responsibilities
- Secure new client agreements while increasing value from current accounts and ensuring contract renewals
- Present product offerings to potential clients through tailored engagements
- Locate and target potential clients in academic, pharmaceutical, and biotech sectors using databases, publications, social platforms, CRM, prospect referrals, website inquiries, and event participation
- Transform marketing-sourced leads from online requests and post-event follow-ups into qualified sales opportunities and manage them through the sales pipeline
- Assess client needs and coordinate technical support team involvement for product demonstrations
- Formulate and implement sales plans while reporting back on performance to guide process improvements
- Maintain precise records of potential and lost deals, client communications, demo results, and market insights in the CRM system for data-driven decisions
- Communicate customer perspectives to marketing and customer success departments to shape product and strategy direction
- Boost product visibility through event participation and by supporting promotional initiatives
