Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with enterprise customers, partners, and senior technical stakeholders to understand challenges and align solutions
- Apply advanced expertise in database systems to lead proof-of-concept projects and technical evaluations
- Collaborate with global sales teams to prioritize opportunities and allocate technical resources effectively
- Design and draft statements of work in coordination with internal technical experts
- Support the creation of presentations, technical workflows, white papers, and responses to formal procurement requests
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences as needed
- Travel regionally up to 40% of the time to support sales initiatives and customer engagements
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should bring 8–10 years of experience as a Senior Sales Engineer with a strong foundation in database technologies and enterprise IT environments.
- Proven experience with MariaDB, MySQL, or comparable database platforms such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarity with in-memory computing solutions like Redis or Apache Ignite is a strong advantage
- Working knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, Java, and open-source ecosystems
- Experience managing complex technical sales cycles and customer proof-of-concept deployments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to executive audiences
- Fluency in English is required; additional regional languages are a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field
