Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor, cultivating long-term relationships grounded in technical credibility and mutual value
- Partner with sales teams to interpret customer requirements and design solutions using advanced networking technologies
- Lead technical discussions throughout the sales process, from initial discovery to response preparation for RFQs and RFPs
- Deliver clear, impactful presentations and demonstrations that illustrate both technical strengths and business outcomes
- Address intricate technical obstacles with practical, well-reasoned solutions
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions for customers and internal teams to build collective expertise
- Stay current with industry developments and technology advancements to effectively communicate competitive advantages
Qualifications
A strong candidate will bring over a decade of experience in technical sales or customer-facing engineering roles within telecommunications or networking. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is required. You should have deep familiarity with optical networking systems and a proven ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.
- Expertise in optical networking architectures and Reconfigurable Service Platform (RSP) technologies
- Experience leading technical proof-of-concept initiatives and customer demonstrations
- Skill in navigating complex deal structures and supporting negotiation processes
- Background in training or enabling technical teams across varied levels
