Role OverviewAs a Sales Engineer, you will act as the technical bridge between customer challenges and product solutions. You'll lead demonstrations of Sierra’s Agent platform, crafting clear, customer-specific narratives that align business objectives with technical capabilities. Your insights will directly influence how the product evolves, ensuring it meets real-world demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver customized technical demonstrations that address specific customer use cases
- Respond to detailed inquiries about system architecture, integration, and AI functionality
- Partner with sales teams to guide enterprise clients through technical evaluations
- Collaborate with product and engineering to relay customer feedback and prioritize enhancements
- Engage stakeholders at all levels, translating complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Anticipate customer requirements and proactively shape solution approaches
Qualifications
Candidates should have 5–7 years of experience in technical sales roles, with a proven ability to lead enterprise sales cycles. A background in solutions engineering or customer-facing technical consulting is essential. You must be skilled at building relationships with technical leaders and executives, and at mapping business problems to technical solutions.
A Bachelor’s degree is required; preference is given to those with degrees in Computer Science or related disciplines, or equivalent professional experience. Experience in AI, machine learning, or similarly complex technical domains is a strong plus.
Strong candidates will also demonstrate the ability to convert technical requirements into product specifications and communicate them effectively across teams.
