As a Sales Engineer, you will act as the technical bridge between the sales team and customers, ensuring solutions are accurately designed, specified, and communicated. Your expertise will be essential in shaping proposals, responding to requests for proposals, and delivering clear, effective demonstrations of security and access control systems.
What You'll Do
- Deliver comprehensive product training to internal sales teams, partners, and end-users
- Design, configure, and quote integrated security systems tailored to client needs
- Support sales efforts by responding to technical RFPs and tender specifications
- Conduct on-site and remote product demonstrations and technical evaluations
- Collaborate with technical support teams to ensure smooth post-sales implementation
- Review and validate technical quotes from internal teams for accuracy and feasibility
- Travel internationally as needed to support customer engagements and partner meetings
Requirements
- Minimum of five years in a technical sales or engineering role within a technology-driven environment
- Proven understanding of video surveillance, access control, and body-worn camera systems
- Strong grasp of networking fundamentals, IP communications, and Windows troubleshooting
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting computer hardware and network equipment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including virtual delivery via teleconference
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for local travel
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Arabic
- Formal education in technology or engineering
- Background in the physical security or surveillance industry
- Microsoft or Cisco certifications
- Knowledge of competitive product lines in the security space
Work Mode
This is an on-site role with frequent travel, typically between 25% and 50%, including international destinations. You will be expected to support regional and global customer engagements as needed.
