About the Role

M-Files is seeking a Sales Director to lead a team of Account Executives focused on driving growth within defined territories. In this remote role, you will ensure strategic territory planning, execute go-to-market strategy, and align with internal teams to deliver customer success and revenue impact.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a team of Account Executives to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Drive adoption of M-Files’ sales framework, emphasizing solution-based selling strategies.
  • Partner with People & Culture on recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of your team.
  • Build and execute territory plans that align resources with opportunity potential.
  • Oversee pipeline management and forecasting, ensuring accuracy within CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to align campaigns to territory and solution needs.
  • Support your team in navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, including proposals, pricing, and negotiations.
  • Provide feedback to senior leadership and Product teams on market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Foster collaboration with Customer Success and Professional Services to maximize account growth and long-term success.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience in B2B SaaS or technology solutions.
  • Proven success leading geographically distributed sales teams.
  • Strong track record in territory planning and execution.
  • Experience managing solution-based sales motions across multiple industries.
  • Skilled in coaching for performance, developing talent, and scaling sales teams.
  • Advanced skills in forecasting, pipeline management, and enterprise deal strategy.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Team & Environment

Key interfaces include Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Strategic Operations. The role reports to the SVP, Sales - North America, and Chief Revenue Officer.
