About the Role

Motorola Solutions is hiring a Sales Development Representative for its Avigilon division. This role is pivotal for a dynamic, customer-focused individual passionate about sales development. You will be responsible for prospecting new business, building relationships with key decision-makers, and qualifying leads to drive rapid growth in our video security and access control markets.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect for new business to develop relationships with key decision-makers, understand customer needs, and track account activity.
  • Identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including prospect lists, discovery, and individual research.
  • Qualify all existing leads in Salesforce.com and other Avigilon lead databases.
  • Coordinate, promote, and lead webinars in your assigned region.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives for your assigned territory.
  • Accept inbound and perform outbound telephone calls to identify sales opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed daily call and activity metrics.
  • Align with other sales team members to support overall company revenue targets.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's Degree OR 6+ months of sales experience OR 6+ months of public safety or public service experience.

Nice to Have

  • Six months to one year of experience within an inside sales organization.
  • Experience with technology sales.
  • Experience with video surveillance or security technology sales.
  • Salesforce.com CRM experience.
  • Previous experience in a sales development role.
