Deel is hiring a Sales Development Representative, SMB | Japan

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify new business leads using inbound and outbound methods such as email, phone, social media, events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Research and assess potential clients by evaluating their needs, challenges, and readiness to move forward in the sales process.
  • Design and implement personalized outreach strategies, including cold calling and tailored email sequences, to engage target accounts.
  • Reach out to current customers to uncover opportunities for cross-selling or expanding product usage within assigned segments.
  • Guide and inform leads through the buyer journey to secure qualified meetings or next-stage engagements.
  • Keep CRM and sales engagement platforms updated with accurate lead and activity records.
  • Coordinate with Account Executives to ensure seamless transition of qualified opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and other departments to improve lead generation tactics, messaging, and workflows.
  • Meet or surpass monthly and quarterly goals for qualified meetings, sales-qualified opportunities, and pipeline contributions.
  • Engage in continuous training, coaching, and professional development activities.
