Magical is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR)

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for initiating contact with prospects, qualifying leads, and setting up meetings for the sales team. Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate conversations with potential clients via email and phone
  • Research target markets to identify new business opportunities
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on set criteria
  • Schedule introductory calls for the account executive team
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts in the CRM system
  • Follow up with prospects using structured sequences
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and targeting
  • Meet or exceed monthly lead qualification targets
  • Participate in training sessions to improve sales techniques
  • Adapt outreach strategies based on feedback and performance data
  • Respond to prospect inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify customer pain points during initial conversations
  • Escalate qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team members
  • Stay updated on product features and industry trends
  • Contribute to the development of outreach templates and workflows
  • Use data to prioritize high-potential leads
  • Engage with prospects on multiple channels including email and LinkedIn
  • Track key performance metrics daily
  • Attend team meetings to review progress and strategy
  • Support the sales team with lead intelligence and insights
