About the Role

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for initiating contact with potential customers, qualifying interest, and setting the stage for the sales team to close deals. This role is an essential part of expanding market reach and driving revenue growth through structured outreach and lead development.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and contact prospective clients through phone and email outreach
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to assess customer needs
  • Generate qualified sales leads for the account executive team
  • Use CRM tools to document interactions and track lead progress
  • Meet or exceed daily and monthly outreach targets
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine lead generation strategies

  • Schedule product demonstrations and introductory calls for sales teams
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all prospect interactions
  • Follow up with leads in a timely and professional manner
  • Respond to inbound inquiries from potential customers
  • Qualify leads based on defined criteria and buying intent
  • Stay informed about product updates and industry trends
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings
  • Support the sales cycle by providing accurate lead information
