About the Role

Octave is looking for a Sales Development Representative to generate demand for our products and solutions. You'll build relationships with prospective customers to create a viable sales pipeline through marketing campaigns and direct outreach, working remotely from Australia.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, engage, and qualify leads from marketing channels and ensure they align with the company’s solutions.
  • Conduct direct outreach to new leads, prospecting into a technical audience while handling objections.
  • Analyze lead generation trends and optimize outreach based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Utilize phone, email, and social selling to connect with key decision-makers with tailored value propositions.
  • Serve as a liaison between marketing and sales, engaging in campaigns and collaborating with Account Executives.
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned quotas for Booked Meetings and Sales Accepted Leads.
  • Track and report key sales development metrics, including conversion rates and engagement trends.
  • Use sales tools to maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline.
  • Proactively stay informed about industry trends and innovations.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum 1+ years of proven sales development experience exceeding quota, or in a customer-facing role.
  • Minimum 1+ years working within a CRM system (Salesforce experience preferred).
  • Strong communication skills for compelling outreach, with confidence speaking to an audience and handling objections.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with a disciplined approach to prospecting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with self-motivation and discipline.
  • Comfort speaking in front of an audience, whether in team meetings, client presentations, or sales pitches.
  • A growth mindset, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
