As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving new business by identifying and engaging potential customers in the B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, and AI sectors. Your primary focus will be high-volume outbound calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement to generate qualified opportunities for the sales team.
What You'll Do
- Run targeted outbound campaigns using cold calling, email sequences, and social outreach to connect with decision-makers
- Assess prospect fit based on company size, use case, budget, and authority using defined ICP criteria
- Set discovery calls and product demonstrations for Account Executives with qualified leads
- Keep CRM records up to date with accurate notes, activity logs, and pipeline details
- Follow up consistently across channels—phone, email, and LinkedIn—to advance conversations
- Communicate value clearly around SaaS, cybersecurity, and AI-driven solutions
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates
Requirements
- 1–5 years in a sales development or inside sales role with a focus on outbound cold calling in B2B environments
- Proven experience working remotely, with fluency in tools like Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and project management platforms
- Direct experience engaging US or UK-based prospects or clients
- Strong communication skills—comfortable initiating conversations with cold leads via phone and video
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Reliable internet connection and a professional home office setup
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, AI, or enterprise technology
- Knowledge of lead qualification frameworks like MEDDICC, BANT, or CHAMP
- History of meeting or exceeding call volume and meeting-set goals
- Experience using cold calling scripts, handling objections, and managing multi-touch outreach cadences
