As a Sales Development Representative I focused on the Midwest region, you'll play a key role in expanding the pipeline by launching targeted outbound campaigns. Your primary focus will be identifying promising prospects, initiating contact through strategic outreach, and scheduling qualified meetings for Account Executives based on defined criteria.
What You'll Do
- Conduct cold outreach to build momentum at the top of the sales funnel and connect decision-makers with the sales team.
- Apply active listening to uncover business challenges and align them with solution-focused conversations.
- Research and evaluate companies to expand and refine outbound prospect lists.
- Develop a deep understanding of the product and refine messaging that resonates with different customer profiles.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Growth, and Customer Success to ensure consistent, impactful messaging and smooth handoffs.
- Keep CRM records up to date with accurate, actionable insights from every interaction.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 months of experience in a sales development or similar prospecting role.
- Proven track record generating leads through outbound methods.
- Familiarity with SaaS or service-based business models and customer lifecycles.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms to manage and track outreach efforts.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
