The Sales Development Representative serves as the first point of contact, focusing on outbound prospecting and lead generation within the SMB sector involved in international business. The role includes a clear progression path toward becoming a professional FX Specialist, supported by direct training in foreign exchange markets and hedging techniques.
Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and assess new business leads within the SMB market segment.
- Initiate contact with potential clients, including senior executives, through a high volume of outbound cold calls.
- Uncover client needs and schedule qualified meetings for the sales team.
- Receive direct coaching and guidance from experienced FX Specialists.
- Join client meetings—both virtual and in-person—to assist in evaluating foreign exchange exposure and shaping hedging proposals.
- Work closely with onboarding, compliance, and operations teams to ensure a seamless and secure client onboarding process.
Requirements
- Driven junior sales professional who performs well under pressure and actively pursues targets.

- Uses rejection as motivation rather than a setback.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Native-level fluency in Italian.
