Hach is looking for a Sales Development Manager to build and grow our presence in the CIS & Baltics territory. In this role, you will manage all commercial activities, ensuring optimal service with Channel Partners and focusing on the water treatment segment. You will be responsible for creating winning conditions, building reliable sales funnels, and establishing strong partnerships to support our mission of protecting water, the world's most valuable resource.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical and sales training and support to Channel Partners to help them deliver their annual goal.
- Participate in site visits, trade shows, demonstrations, and seminars.
- Deliver on financial targets and KPIs through forecasting and funnel reviews.
- Introduce and maintain high discipline in pipeline and opportunity management.
- Ensure accuracy and up-to-date information entered into Salesforce.com.
- Develop new business opportunities with both Key accounts/EPCs and indirect channels.
- Engage authorities, engineering firms, and influencers to strengthen market presence.
- Track competitor activities and adjust strategies to maintain advantages.
- Create an energized and positive environment for the Sales team (Channel Partners).
- Work closely with other functions such as Product Management and Marketing to drive performance and develop skills.
What We're Looking For
- Engineering or Chemical background (chemistry, process, environmental, measuring, or control technology).
- Very good understanding of the water market in CIS & Baltics (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania).
- More than 5 years of experience in the water process market, water treatments, and water technologies (water analysis, wastewater technology, drinking water, surface water).
- Proven business acumen for the municipal & industrial market.
- Proficiency in CRM tools for funnel management and forecasting (ideally SalesForce) and daily use of MS Pack Office IT tools.
- Excellent communication, strong relationship-building and presentation skills in a multicultural environment.
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and problem-solving mindset.
- Willing to travel approximately 60% within the CIS and Baltics region.
- Rigorous, organized, and methodical in monitoring files, managing activities both in the field and remotely, while adhering to the Group's Compliance rules.
- Fluent in English and Russian.
