About the Role
The Sales Data Quality Analyst II is responsible for maintaining high standards of data integrity within the sales organization by conducting audits, refining data entry practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor incoming sales data for completeness and correctness
- Identify patterns in data errors and recommend corrective actions
- Perform regular audits of customer and transaction records
- Collaborate with sales teams to resolve data inconsistencies
- Develop and maintain documentation for data quality standards
- Track and report on key data quality metrics
- Support integration of new data sources into existing systems
- Work with IT to implement automated data validation rules
- Assist in the design of dashboards for data quality monitoring
- Investigate root causes of recurring data issues
- Ensure compliance with internal data governance policies
- Provide feedback to improve CRM data entry practices
- Validate data before it is used in financial reporting
- Coordinate with onboarding teams to ensure clean data intake
- Respond to ad hoc data quality inquiries from stakeholders
- Maintain version control for data quality checklists
- Evaluate the impact of system changes on data accuracy
- Escalate critical data issues to management when necessary
- Participate in testing for new sales technology implementations
- Train team members on best practices for data maintenance
Nice to Have
- Experience with data quality tools such as Talend or Informatica
- Certification in data management or analytics
- Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ or Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Background in B2B technology sales environments
- Advanced SQL or Python for data analysis
