Allegion is hiring a Sales Consultant - Hollow Metal to profitably drive strategic growth for our hollow metal business in the Western United States. You will leverage managed pricing, mix-management, and customer insights to support revenue growth, collaborating closely with sales, manufacturing, and customer care teams.
What You'll Do
- Develop local hollow metal project pricing strategies in collaboration with regional sales leadership.
- Manage new account start-up in coordination with local sales offices.
- Partner with sales and product management to create custom tools and approaches to capture greater market share.
- Analyze and communicate market dynamics and competitive changes effectively.
- Maintain project hit rate statistics to inform evolving, profitable pricing strategies.
- Provide data for the monthly hollow metal sales forecast.
- Develop and manage relationships with key hollow metal distributors to understand customer needs and competitive threats.
- Maintain and utilize a CRM tool for sales reporting and activity communication.
- Collaborate with Hollow Metal Sales counterparts in other regions to share and implement best practices.
- Partner with SBU leadership and regional service centers on key metrics, strategy, and customer outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma required.
- 5+ years of demonstrated hollow metal industry experience.
- Knowledge of the security industry.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to interface at multiple levels internally and externally.
- Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time.
- Must live within the Western half of the United States to serve that market.
- Ideal candidate resides in close proximity to a major airport for frequent air travel.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Sales experience in both hollow metal and hardware industries.
- Understanding of operations, project management constraints, and financial acumen.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency with CRM and estimation tools.

- Compensation range: $120,000 - $170,000
