Allegion is hiring a Sales Consultant - Hollow Metal - West US

About the Role

This role involves partnering with customers to provide hollow metal product solutions, supporting sales teams, and ensuring client needs are met through technical knowledge and relationship management across the western region of the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements for hollow metal products
  • Provide technical guidance on product specifications and applications
  • Support sales efforts by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely project execution
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines and industry standards
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability and lead times
  • Assist in preparing submittals and project documentation
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and distribution teams for order fulfillment
  • Track and report on sales activities and project progress
  • Identify growth opportunities within assigned territory
  • Attend client meetings and project reviews as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Promote product training for customers and partners
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively
  • Support estimating and bidding processes for new projects
  • Maintain accurate customer and project records
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events
  • Follow up on leads and sales opportunities
  • Contribute to team goals and performance metrics
  • Use CRM tools to manage customer interactions
  • Support specification development with architects and contractors
  • Ensure alignment with regional sales strategies
  • Escalate complex technical issues when necessary
  • Maintain professional conduct in all customer engagements
